Choose a cruise ship - The best time for Bermuda cruise vacation is between the months of April and November. You can select any one of them depending upon the facilities available on the ship and your budget.
Select the destination port - There are 3 big ports in Bermuda; Kings Wharf, St. George and Hamilton. While the former two can accommodate large cruise ships, the last one cannot. If you have chosen a large cruise ship for your Bermuda cruise vacation, then your destination port can either be St. George or Kings Wharf. From both the ports you can easily travel to the main island. For visiting various attractions on the island, public transportation is available.
Decide on departure port - For your Bermuda cruise vacation, you also have to decide on the departure port. There are only 7 ports in the United States from where the cruise ships travel to Bermuda Island. They are Baltimore, Charleston, Cape Liberty, Fort Lauderdale, Norfolk, New York and Philadelphia. To opt for the port, you would first have to find out whether you ship departs from that port or not. You would also have to take into consideration how far the port is from your place of residence.
Remember to take your passport - As per the new rule introduced on 1st June, 2009, you would need a passport to be able to enter into the United States. Hence, apply for the passport so that you receive it well in time.
Pack the bags - The climate on the Bermuda Island is warm and humid. Therefore, for your Bermuda cruise vacation, carry only light cotton clothes, and don’t forget your sunglasses, hat, beach costume and walking shoes.
